Columbia Police announce arrest of man suspected of burglarizing a home on Trenholm Road

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Columbia Police Department says they arrested a man accused of burglarizing a residence on Trenholm Road Wednesday. Investigators say the victim discovered the break-in when the came home for lunch and proceeded to call the police.

Police say 27-year-old Devonte Spell attempted to flee the scene, but two individuals helped detain him before he was brought into police custody.
