Columbia VA HCS offering COVID-19 vaccines to veterans of all ages

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– On Tuesday, the Columbia Veterans Affairs Health Care System announced that they are now offering coronavirus vaccines to veterans of all ages. To be eligible, veterans must be enrolled to receive VA health care.

Eligible veterans can schedule an appointment by calling 803-776-4000 ext 1-2873.

Officials say vaccinations will be administered in at Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center, as well as the Greenville, Florence, Orangeburg, and Sumter community-based outpatient clinics.

You must schedule an appointment beforehand as no walk-ins will be accepted.

Veterans not currently enrolled to receive VA health care can visit www.va.gov/health-care/eligibility/ to see if they qualify.
