State senator introduces bill allowing businesses to display percentage of vaccinated employees

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– One state senator introduced a bill Tuesday which would allow businesses to publicly promote and display the number of employees that have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

State Senator Merlon Kimpson says businesses would be able to use signs to show the percentage of employees vaccinated, as well as requiring businesses to disclose that percentage if they are asked. She said in part “this is a way for consumers to choose which businesses they want to use as we continue to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.”
