CNN– The gun industry is preparing for a surge of sales, after some United States lawmakers have called for stricter gun regulations. Research groups have found that whenever there are moves for gun control, people buy more guns in fear they won’t be able to again. Industry experts say it’s too soon to know how the shootings will affect sales of firearms. Reliable figures from federal background checks will be released in April.

There is some good news for people who like to see movies on the big screen with the famous movie theater popcorn. Regal Cinemas is reopening its U.S. theaters in April, after they were shut down for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Its CEO says Regal will be able to make a profit now that capacity restrictions will expand to at least 50%.

One Disney park is testing out some new facial recognition technology. The park rolled out it’s test system Tuesday at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Florida. Disney says it’s looking for ways to focus on more touchless experiences in the parks. The technology converts a guest’s face and gives a unique number ID, tying it to your admission ticket. The test is optional and will be in place for at least 30 days.
