SC House approves budget, provides small raises for teachers and some law enforcement

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The South Carolina House has approved its nearly $10 billion budget. The spending plan provides small raises for teachers and some law enforcement officers, but not all state employees.

Lawmakers say they are planning a second round of COVID talks in May or June if the economy fully recovers from the COVID-19 downturn.
