Kershaw County Sheriff Lee Boan voices opposition to further action on gun control

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– One member of local law enforcement is weighing in on renewed calls for further action on gun control. Kershaw County Sheriff Lee Boan released a statement on his Facebook page.

The sheriff says he is against any law that infringes on a law abiding citizen’s right to possess a firearm, adding “We don’t need more gun control laws.
We need better criminal control laws.”
