Richland County deputy in serious condition after single car collision in Irmo

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy is in serious condition following a single car collision Thursday morning in Irmo. The department says Sergeant Michael Mazerolle was rushed to the hospital following the collision on Koon Road.

The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
