Orangeburg deputies asking for help identifying suspects from weekend shooting
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Deputies with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in identifying three individuals they believe are involved in a shooting that took place over the weekend. Around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night, deputies say they were called to an apartment on Russell Street for a report of gunfire. According to investigators, witnesses say they saw a man who appeared to be injured after hearing the gunfire.
According to officials, the injured man told investigators at the hospital that three individuals entered his residence while asking about their “friend” before shooting the man at least once and fleeing the residence.
“These individuals went in and shot this man for no reason,” he said. “If anyone has any ideas as to who they are, please call us.”
