616 cases of COVID-19, 12 new deaths Saturday in SC

COLUMBIA (WOLO): Saturday, the Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 616 new cases of COVID-19. Another 12 South Carolinians have died.

South Carolina has reported a total of 474,999 coronavirus cases since the pandemic began, and 8,208 deaths.

DHEC also reports a 3.7% positivity rate of the most recent tests taken.
