Columbia Police on scene of deadly shooting in north Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – Columbia Police are investigating a deadly shooting Friday night in north Columbia.

One male victim has died. It happened in the 4600 block of Catherine Avenue which is around the Eau Claire neighborhood.

Details are limited but CPD says officers responded to the scene after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. Investigators are canvassing the area.
