511 cases of COVID-19, 10 new deaths in SC Saturday

COLUMBIA (WOLO): The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced the latest coronavirus numbers in South Carolina Saturday.

511 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, along with 10 additional deaths.

DHEC reports South Carolina now has a total of 478,739 cases since the pandemic began, and 8,289 confirmed deaths.

5.3% of the most recent tests taken came back positive according to DHEC.
