City officials cut ribbon on new bike track in Columbia

COLUMBIA< SC (WOLO)– There’s a new place to get your pedals pumping in Columbia! Tuesday morning, city officials cut the ribbon on the brand new Owens Field Bicycle Pump Track. The track is designed for all bikers’ skill levels and includes burn turns, asphalt rollers, perimeter fencing for safety and a fix-it bike station.

Tuesday’s announcement is part of the city’s master plan to improve parks are recreation areas in the community.
