Man arrested for vandalizing a Richland County patrol vehicle
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says they arrested a man accused of vandalizing a patrol vehicle. Deputies say 67-year-old Richard Bausch was arrested Tuesday and charged with vandalism of property.
On April 23, investigators say Bausch was caught on camera at The Legacy at Sandhills Apartments using an object to scratch the back of a patrol car where the words “Peace Officer” were displayed. Deputies say the damage amounted to about $500.
