Richland County Coroner identifies teens who died during shooting on Ulmer Road

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of two teens who were killed during a shooting that took place around 11: 30 p.m. Monday at 4020 Ulmer Road. Officials say 17-year-old Reginald Nixon Jr., of Columbia and 15-year-old Desmond Williams, of Eastover, died as a result of the shooting.

“We are working with the Columbia Police Department to fully investigate this matter,” says Coroner Rutherford.
