261 cases of COVID-19, 17 deaths in SC Sunday

COLUMBIA (WOLO): Sunday, the state Department of Health & Environmental Control announced 261 new cases of COVID-19, and 218 probable cases.

Another 17 deaths have also been reported.

South Carolina has reported a total of 488,797 cases of Covid-19 since the pandemic began, and 8,498 confirmed deaths.

The health agency says of the 10,905 most recent tests, 3.5% of them came back positive.
