CDC says more than four million teens have received their first vaccine dose

CNN– Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky called Monday a “landmark day” in the fight against the coronavirus. The CDC reported more than four million teens, between the ages 12-17 years old, have gotten their first vaccine dose and more than half of all adults have received at least one dose.

Overall, health officials report more than 274 million doses have been administered across the country. That’s about 80% of the total vaccine doses delivered.
