COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– W.A. Perry Middle School will have a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination “party” this Saturday. It’s at the school’s parking lot on Barhamville Road from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Prisma Health will help give anyone 12 and older a free vaccine.

You and the kids can enjoy live music by DJs, get some goody bags and even win door prizes. DJs from 100.1 The Beat will be broadcasting live from the event from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

“This vaccination clinic is an easy, convenient way for families to come out and get their free COVID-19 shot while having a little fun,” said Dr. Robin Coletrain, principal of W.A. Perry. “Guests will not be required to show any type of insurance papers. They just drive up and they’ll be given the shots, along with masks, sanitizer, educational materials, goody bags and a lot more. I encourage everyone to come out and take advantage of this opportunity. It’s going to be great.”

The event is sponsred by W.A. Perry, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
