Carolina Panthers returning to Spartanburg for training camp

The Carolina Panthers will be coming back to Spartanburg, SC for training camp this summer.

The team announcing training camp will be held at Wofford College this summer, starting July 27th and continuing into August. It’s the 26th year of training camp in Spartanburg. The Panthers first held camp there for their inaugural season in 1995.

Founder and previous owner Jerry Richardson attended Wofford and started the annual tradition in Spartanburg.
