Deputies find missing man’s body at a pond in Kershaw

KERSHAW CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office says an elderly man reported missing was found dead on Tuesday.

Authorities say Marion Watts, 75, was found at a pond on Watts Hill Road at 9:30 p.m.

According to preliminary reports, authorities say it appeared he fell down while he was fishing and hit his head.

Deputies say no foul play is suspected at this time.
