California tech startup teaches computer to taste wine
CNN– A Golden State tech startup is teaching a computer to taste wine. The idea is to help winemakers improve their products and attract new customers.
The company is called Tastry. The founder says the A.I. analyzes “tens of thousands of wines a year.” She says she got the idea when she was a chemistry student working at a winery.
