One person dead in Monday morning accident on I-95 in Clarendon County

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– One person was killed in a Monday morning accident in Clarendon County. Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say it happened around 8 a.m. on I-95 South near Highway 301.

Officials say the driver was driving a box truck that ran off the road and hit several trees. Officials say they were not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
