Two Lexington County men arrested on charges related to the sexual abuse of minors
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– According to South Carolina Attorney General, two Lexington County men were arrested on charges related to the sexual abuse of minors. Authorities say 29-year-old Jeremy Joseph Denny and 21-year-old Cameron Lee Myers were arrested on ten total charges. Authorities say theses cases are unrelated.
According to investigators, 21-year-old Cameron Lee Myers distributed child sexual abuse material. Authorities say they arrested Myers on June 10 and charged him with eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree. Officials say each count is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Authorities say 29-year-old Jeremy Joseph Denny solicited someone he believed to be a minor for sex and traveled to meet them. Officials say Denny was arrested on June 9 and charged with one count of criminal solicitation of a minor and one count of attempted criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
