Fairfield County Coroner: 6-year-old dies in car accident Friday

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Fairfield County Coroner has identified the victim in a fatal accident on Friday. Officials say 6-year-old Sahliyah Haynes, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia, was riding in a car on I-77 South when it left the road and overturned multiple times.  Authorities say Haynes was ejected from the car.

The accident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
