KCSO: One Wildwood Lane shooting suspect turns himself in, deputies still looking second suspect

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office says Keyon Starling turned himself in and is currently in custody. Officials say he was wanted for attempted murder in connection with a shooting on Wildwood Lane last week. Deputies say they are still looking for Van Starling, who is also wanted for attempted murder.

According to investigators, the incident occurred in the 600 block of Wildwood Lane around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7. Authorities say the victim suffered two non-life threatening gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital. Investigators say the suspects fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Deputies say this was not a random incident, and the three individual all knew each other. Investigators say illegal drugs, bullet casings and blood were all found at the scene.
