RCSD looking for individuals involved in burglary of a home under renovation

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help identifying two individuals they say are responsible for the burglary of a home undergoing renovations.

Investigators say the incident occurred late on July 27 in the 1600 block of Tanglewood Road. According to authorities, surveillance video shows a man enter the home through a sliding glass door around 11:45 p.m. and leaving with power tools and equipment including tile cutter, saw motor, chop saw and work light. Authorities say they believe a second man dropped him off at the house and picked him up about 15 minutes later.

According to authorities, the second was seen at a gas station. He is described as a white man with tattoos on his arms and a braided beard. Officials say he was driving a dark blue 1995 body style Chevy Silverado with an extended cab, tool box, white stickers on the back window and chrome sidesteps.
