First male residential students welcomed to Columbia College

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Columbia College is welcomed its first male residential students Thursday. Officials with the 167 year old institution say the preparation for this change has been months in the making.

College President Tom Bogart says this is a historic moment for what was previously a women’s liberal arts college. Columbia College became fully co-educational last year.
