Lexington PD conducting safety checkpoints in response to collisions and complaints

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department is out in full force today, conducting safety checkpoints. The checkpoints come in response to collisions, citizen traffic complaints, speeding and unsafe driving practices.

Officers will be checking driver’s licenses, vehicle registration and insurance requirements.
