Bureau of Labor Statistics reports people are quitting their jobs in record numbers

CNN– People across the United States have been quitting their jobs in record numbers. Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that 4.4 million people quit their jobs in September. That’s a new all-time high.

Some economic researchers say the arts, entertainment and recreation sectors had the most resignations. That was followed by other service industries, state and local governments and education. All jobs where most work is in-person and relatively low-paying.
