CDC: More than one million kids under age 12 have received a COVID-19 shot

CNN– The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that more than one million children under the age of 12 have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. It’s been two weeks since the FDA authorized the vaccine for children ages 5-11.

Currently, 195 million Americans have been fully vaccinated, that’s 59% of the country’s population.
