Columbia Police release video of vehicle connected to investigation of fatal hit and run on Gervais Street

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Columbia Police Department released video of a vehicle wanted in connection with a hit and run that killed a pedestrian on Gervais Street. Authorities say the collision occurred around 3 a.m. on November 12.

Police say it appears the pedestrian, a 64-year-old man, was unlawfully crossing the roadway when he was struck. Investigators say he was not wearing reflective clothing.

Investigators say the vehicle in the video is possibly a blue or gray Honda Accord with a model year around 2008-2012.
