LCSD: Gunman suspected of fatal shooting on Woodcote Drive found dead in Richland County

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says the gunman suspected of shooting and killing two people Monday morning was found dead in his car with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators say the car was parked in Richland County.

Around 9:15 a.m. Monday, deputies say a neighbor reported hearing gunfire on Woodcote Drive. Officials say they responded to the scene and later discovered that two people were killed.

According to investigators, two people were killed in the shooting.
