RCSD: Two charged with deadly shooting on Longcreek Drive
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says two men are charged in connection with Tuesday’s shooting that left one dead on Longcreek Drive. Authorities say 19-year-old Travis Lamar Mitchell and 18-year-old Vashaun Alija Gaulman are each charged with murder after turning themselves in Wednesday.
Around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, deputies say they responded to the 1400 block of Longcreek Drive for a shooting. Once on the scene, deputies say they found a man with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Authorities say he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
