CDC: COVID-19 the third leading cause of death in 2020
CNN– COVID-19 was the third leading cause of death in 2020, behind heart disease and cancer. That’s according to final 2020 death data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The report says COVID-19 was the underlying cause of death for more than 350,000 people in 2020.
