Gamecock defensive lineman Zacch Pickens returning for senior season

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Gamecocks will be bringing back plenty of returning talent for the 2022 season.

Just hours after linebacker Brad Johnson announced he would return for his final season of eligibility, junior defensive lineman Zacch Pickens made a similar announcement on social media.

Pickens played all 13 games for South Carolina this season and led the team with four sacks on the year. He also totaled 38 tackles and five tackles for loss in 2021.
