Gamecock linebacker Brad Johnson coming back for final season

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina’s much-improved defense in 2021 will be adding another returning veteran for next season.

Redshirt senior linebacker Brad Johnson announced on social media Monday afternoon that he would be returning for his final season of eligibility in 2022.

Johnson played in all 13 games for South Carolina this season, and was second on the team with 74 total tackles. He also posted four tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
