Lexington-Richland Dist. 5 names full-time superintendent

Chapin, S.C. (WOLO)–The interim superintendent of a Midlands school district now has the job full time.
Monday evening members of the Lexington-Richland 5 school board appointed Dr Akil Ross as its next superintendent.
Ross took over for Dr. Christina Melton after she abruptly resigned last summer.
Prior to his time as superintendent, Ross was the principal of Chapin High School.
