Nearly 3,000 flights canceled ahead of winter weather blast

CNN– Airlines are once again canceling flights ahead of an expected new blast of winter weather. The flight tracking site, FlightAware, reported nearly 3,000 flights have been nixed nationwide.

More than 1,300 flights were canceled at airports including those in Chicago, St. Louis and Detroit, while 1,600 more flights have already been canceled for Thursday.
