USGS confirms another earthquake near Elgin overnight

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Officials with the United States Geological Survey confirmed another earthquake neat Elgin overnight. The South Carolina Emergency Management Division says the 1.4 magnitude earthquake was centered 3 miles east of Elgin, and the aftershock was recorded at 12:39 a.m.
