Mexico’s avocado exports rise in the weeks leading to the Super Bowl

CNN– The avocado is another star of the Super Bowl. The fruit is consumed by the ton on Super Bowl Sunday. Avocado producers say that, on average, Mexico exports about 18,000 tons of avocado a week to the United States.

In January, and during the weeks prior to the Super Bowl, exports increased 30%.
