Small plane crashes at Holly Hill Airport, pilot airlifted to hospital

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Officials say an ultralight aircraft crashed at the Holly Hill Airport in Orangeburg County Thursday. Officials say the crash was called in after a witness and a man who owns the hanger saw what happened.

Authorities say the pilot was airlifted to the hospital.

Officials tell ABC Columbia that the Federal Aviation Administration is heading to the scene.
