UPDATE: The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says Xavier Butler was found, and he is safe.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for your help finding a missing 13-year-old who was last seen on Tuesday around 5 p.m. Officials say Xavier Butler was last seen on Green Rose Road in Northeast Columbia, and he was waring a black hoodie, black pants and white and blue Air Jordan shoes.

Investigators say they have reason to believe he may be in danger. If you see Xavier or know where he may be, call 911 or submit a tip to Crimestoppers at crimesc.com.
