Blythewood HS cuts ribbon on new biodiesel lab

COLUMBIA,, SC (WOLO)– Students at Blythewood High School are revving their engines. This afternoon, school officials and students held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their biodiesel lab. It’s one of only two in the country.

The biodiesel production lab converts used cooking oil into biodiesel fuel. District officials say the Bengal Biodiesel Lab was featured on the television show Motorweek.
