Darlington County Coroner releases ID of man killed in officer involved shooting

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– We now know the identity of a man killed during an officer involved shooting Thursday. The Darlington County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 37-year-old Kenneth Turner.

Investigators say the shooting happened Thursday morning in the area of McIver and Old Florence Roads. SLED investigators confirmed Turner was armed.
