UPDATE: Missing 73-year-old from Clarendon County found safe

UPDATE: The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office says Barfield has been located, and she is safe.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help locating a missing 73-year-old woman last seen Monday night. Deputies say Hazel Barfield was last seen on Lucky Road, in the Barrineau area of the county around 10 p.m.

Authorities say she was driving a burgundy 2015 GMC Terrain with SC tag “SUN 414.”

According to officials, Barfield may be suffering from the early stages of dementia. If you have any information about where she may be, call the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Unit at 803-435-4414.
