Lexington PD to conduct public safety checkpoints this Thursday

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Lexington community residents can prepare for several public safety checkpoints that will be conducted this week. Within the Town of Lexington, officers will be conducting those checkpoints this Thursday, July 3, in response to recent crashes, citizen traffic complaints and previous speed-prone areas.

Officers will be checking driver’s licenses, vehicle registration and insurance requirements.
