SC parents have a new way to apply for child support

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — Parents in need in South Carolina have a new way to apply for child-support services.

Wednesday the SC Department of Social Services (DSS) announced the launch of a new custodial parent portal which can be found on the DSS website.
Officials say the portal will give parents 24-7 access to department services and shorten processing times for applications for services.
