Friday headlines: Three people were shot in Lexington, and Columbia police search for a vehicle connected to a homicide.
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting they say left three people injured just after 8pm Thursday night. According to deputies, the three individuals were shot while in the 100 block of Glenn Road. Investigators received reports of a shooting that led them to the crime scene and discovered the victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Deputies tell ABC Columbia News they believe this was an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public.
Columbia Police are searching for a vehicle that may be connected to a recent homicide.
on Tuesday police say 20-year-old Travis Sutton was shot at the North Pointe Estates on Ripplemeyer Avenue and later died at a hospital.
Officers released a surveillance image of a 20-15 Nissan Altima, they say has a South Carolina license plate number UMJ-492.
