COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)—The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says South Carolina has 132 monkeypox cases.
The Department of Health and Environmental Control has not reported any monkeypox deaths in the Palmetto State.
Although DHEC says the spread of the virus remains low in the state, they have expanded the eligibility for those more at risk to become infected.
