COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— The Palmetto Trail is encouraging women to participate in this year’s Women’s Outdoor Adventure Weekend. The event will take place at Table Rock State Park in South Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains from Nov. 17-20.
Organizers of the event aim to empower women 18 years and older to take part in South Carolina’s outdoor trails and parks no matter their abilities.
The weekend will include various outdoor recreation activities from fly fishing to wilderness survival.
A self-defense class will be available to help new and experienced outdoor enthusiasts feel safe on their adventures.
