SC State Election Commission: almost 40,000 people voted early, setting new record
A new record has been set for early voting! The South Carolina State Election Commission says approximately 40,000 people already voted early, almost doubling the early voting record set on June 10.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— A new record has been set for early voting! The South Carolina State Election Commission says approximately 40,000 people already voted early, almost doubling the early voting record set on June 10.
If you haven’t voted yet, you can still visit an early voting location now until November 5.
Early voting times : 8:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Nov. 5.
Visit scVOTES.gov for a list of this years ballot contenders and for information about absentee voting.
Registered voters are asked to check scVOTES.gov or contact your county voter registration office to find the appropriate voting location.
Individuals will be required to present a Photo ID when checking in to vote.
